At The Dinner Spin, we are on a mission to make meal prep easier by providing simple to use online tools.  Our goal is to inspire healthy habits when it comes to planning, shopping, cooking, eating and budgeting.

Dinner Spin founder, Janis Bowers, has always had a fervor for food, but is even more driven by a passion for entrepreneurship. Since the first dollar she earned as a child selling used fireworks on the fifth of July, Janis knew she wanted to own her own business.

On the first Monday morning commute after the birth of her second child, inspiration struck for the creation of The Dinner Spin.  All of her passions combined in this one idea to provide simple recipes and help busy cooks stay organized enough to provide a delicious, nutritious meal every night of the week with minimal effort.

With support from numerous friends and family, Janis launched her dream in 2008 and vows to provide members with easy dinner recipes and healthy recipes for kids.

While Janis holds no official culinary degree, she has spent countless hours perfecting nutritious recipes in an effort to maintain a healthy cholesterol level for her husband who once topped the LDL charts at 500! Her recipes, tips and time-saving tricks are tried and true. Life is a lot easier when the “what’s for dinner” panic is averted.

You can find more of Janis' food musings on TodaysMama in Mama's Kitchen.

Menu planning and budget-friendly meals are hot topics for corporate wellness initiatives, professional group meetings, etc.  This somewhat mundane task gets a new spin with Janis' unique presentation style that invigorates her audiences, motivating others to eat healthy, save money and have a more balanced relationship with the hectic dinner hour! Promote your product through a "must-have" recipe.  The Dinner Spin also provides customized recipe creation to promote food and food-prep products.  Boost your business with a new spin on serving your products by contacting The Dinner Spin today.

And, YES, she really did sell used fireworks!  You read it right.  Apparently, people had more money in the 80's to spend on frivolous things like half-melted rockets.
